The adventure focus on stories makes it possible to include populare literature and film, or even reference older games with a wide range of generes, including science fiction, mystery, comedy, fantasy and horror. Most of the old adventure games are designed for a single player.

THE CURSE is the third game in LucasArts' brilliant and popular Monkey Island series. Once again Guybrush Threepwood is starring, taking up his dull blade and rapier wit against the nefarious demon-pirate LeChuck.

The Curse of Monkey Island is the third in what could only be described as probably one of the best puzzle adventure game series of all time. Like the first two, you will be helping our lovable wanna-be pirate hero GuybrushThreepwood defeat his archenemy the evil zombie pirate LeChuck. If you liked the original Monkey Island games or other Lucas Arts adventure games, like Full Throttle or Sam N Max, then Curse of Monkey Island will satisfy your adventure game needs.

The third game in the M.I. series, entitled The Curse of Monkey Island is also the final game designed to work on SCUMM engines. It's the first Monkey Island game that uses voice acting and SVGA graphics.
