If you liked the original Monkey Island games or other Lucas Arts adventure games, like Full Throttle or Sam N Max, then Curse of Monkey Island will satisfy your adventure game needs.

The third game in the M.I. series, entitled The Curse of Monkey Island is also the final game designed to work on SCUMM engines. It's the first Monkey Island game that uses voice acting and SVGA graphics.
